whole place was spotlessly clean with exceptional views; marvellous location on a cliff overlooking the ocean. location: the hotel was close enough to the tuscan coast, a rocky beach from which one can swim and the city center.

тHе hotel Il Telamonio is only one in Talamone. Talamone is very small town as a small port. There are no any entertainments no any services no beach. There are only 3 restorants (really only one restorant is good and the others have not good location). The hotel locates on the mountain and for swimming in the sea you can go down to the stones and if you like to lay on jagged rocks you can do it. But it's not convenient.:) The value for money and quality of the hotel is very exaggerated and not drawn to the 4 stars. Next time we will choose the place for vacation more attentively.

The hotel was beautifully situated, and the room had a balcony with a sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful (and spoke good English when I spoke very bad Italian). The solarium had excellent views of the town and the sea.
Having booked a room described as a "Double room" I was given a room which I would have described as a twin. Booked.net now incorrectly lists my booking as "Double or Twin room". This may well not have been the fault of the hotel.

THe position is excellent. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
I think that the size of the single room for the price was a touch small to be honest.

Clean and tidy, good breakfasts, helpful stuff. It's better to have a car to be able to go around for sand beaches.
No iron (strange for ****). Beach is very small and stones - but if have a car it's not a problem at all. Only 2 or 3 good restaurants around - no much choice -- again not critical when on car.

Location was good in the middle of Talamone old village. Close to cafes and restaurants
1st floor room - very very small room. Windows are closed / now views, no daylight. You can not rate this hotel with *** or **** based on our experience
